Time does not just fly by. The 365-366 days we live through are all moments we spend doing something, nothing, or everything at once. The choices we make on a daily basis build on to future events that occur in our lives. Even doing nothing is still a choice.
For 2013, I made the mistake of choosing to do nothing for a long time and then having to suffer for it’s consequences during the summer and fall. 2014 is when I changed all of that.
2014 I chose to get back into college for it’s winter session and kick my art and music creation into overdrive. It’s led to successful grades, good friend both in real life and on the internet, and hopefully to more connections for my future goals.
For 2015, I’m doing the same thing I did last year: take initiative, grow creatively, pass my courses, and make more connections like I always should be doing. To all of you who worry about 2015 being shitty or not being any better than 2014, don’t sit back and just take it. Take some initiative in your life and make the best of it.
Happy New Years to all and I wish you the best of luck.
Due to inconsistent schedules and expensive room payments, my bandmates and I decided to give up the room.
Kinda sucks since we’ve been there for seven years, but we can’t cover the costs anymore.
At least we’re still a band. We’ll just use an hourly studio for practice sessions. After all, it isn’t a venue that keeps the music flowing.
Nothin’ much man, just enjoyin’ the holidays with my temp dog :D
Got your ask earlier, accidentally answered it publicly, deleted it.
Long story short, maybe. Hell, I could probably stream that one alongside an HDip sketch
Artistic drive went like “nope” all day today.
Great
Just passed my college course pretty damn well with 3 A’s and 1 C
Kinda bouncing off the walls with happiness that all of my stress didn’t go for nothing :D
For any of you who follow any of the artists who contributed to that pack, you may have heard that it was pirated rather quickly.
Now, as much as the idea and concept are disliked, I believe the only way to prevent that would’ve been a paywall. I can tell some would cringe at the idea, but it’s the only way to get a set amount before it comes out.
To be honest, I’m not surprised that the pack got out that quickly, since I know how fast pirates can work. I just wish people would patronize the creators a bit more.
Paywall description below the break.
It’s sound in concept but there’s one problem.
Pirates will pirate anything, regardless. If they get it, they will share it like an STD at an orgy. Trying to deter them is like telling a disease to stop spreading. They don’t even care that this kind of stuff helps put food on the table of artists.
They can and will get stuff before it even gets released. I found that out when I found a legit BluRay rip of Into The Storm long before the DVD/BluRay release, and Django Unchained from a ripped screener DVD long before the official store release. Online pirates are a pretty resourceful bunch.
That means a hacker would have to backdoor hack one of the artist’s computer who carries the whole pack, meaning Quin’s comp would have to be compromised, assuming he’s the one who put the pack online.
That much work for pirating wouldn’t be worth it unless someone just shelled out 20 and put it on Mega (which has already happened in multiple instances).
Hypothetical planning of a digital art heist is a bit blasphemous so I’ll stop there, but the bottom line is already there; pirates are going to do what they want, so make it difficult for them.

I just had to improvise a whole background for this commission, cause holy shit, I have no idea what I’m doing.
Quality of the background doesn’t match the characters inside at all, so I’ve been iffy about when I can call it finished.
Might just call it “Finished” after signing it then hike up the prices for backgrounds.
North Korea declares war on the United States.
The allies of the US answer the declaration by aiming their guns at North Korea.
The allies of North Korea aim their guns at USA’s allies.
The world is at a brief standstill before a nuclear warhead is seen being shipped to a silo in North Korea, and all hell breaks loose.
The world is plunged into World War 3.
The entire world’s resources are dwindling several years into the ongoing war.
World powers fall, countries are overrun, nuclear blasts wipe out millions of civilians.
The only calm is the result of a nuclear wasteland, few survivors, scrounging for resources in the tattered wastes we once called home.
The end of the world as we know it.
All because of The Interview.
A Seth Rogan comedy will literally be the reason the world ended.
God himself will be beating his head against a pearly desk.
His greatest creation wiped out because of a fucking Seth Rogan movie.
Cause bascially…
- N. Korea has no sense of humor.
- Kim Jong-Un has the mentality of a Team Fortress 2 Free2Play player.
- Hollywood clearly thinks it can make a movie of whatever it wants.
- Some fucking moron thought that since it worked, making a movie about killing a known world leader that is still living would make a great comedy film for CHRISTMAS!
The concept of a satire about killing a dictator isn’t the most humourous idea I’ve ever heard, but the idea of a world leader being offended by it IS reaosnable.
Like when Vladmir Putin is put into nearly every promo run by Lana and Rusev of WWE, I can’t imagine that he’s completely chill with it. Not to mention there have been two incidents where countries have been offended by what happens in the ring, including Big Show ripping down the Russian flag, Rusev superkicking a fake American Solider and so on.
Justification for going to war over it is idiotic though. I know Freedom of Speech is an American ruling, but being offended to such an extent, by a movie no less, and retaliating with tactical warfare is just about the dumbest reasoning to go to war.
I think NK is calling a bluff to try to oppress Americans from afar, but KJU is an idiot, as proven already. He might actually shoot missiles at he west coast if the movie premiers for all I know.
Yeah, I’ll post the commission sheet for it soon enough and open for business.
Just adjusting the price of specific backgrounds and adding finer details so the process is clear.
I’ve managed to get my Research paper down 3 pages, only got 2 left to do. All of it is the scholarly part and I need a break before I delve into that.
Btw, it’s a topic on Private vs Public in the world of Pop Culture.
“Pop culture affiliation among other things in our private lives tend to affect our social statuses and work place image when it gets out. Where should the line be drawn for where our public image and/or persona should be affected by what we take interest in behind closed doors?” is my Thesis for the most part.
If you guys have any kind of scholarly sources about how being in a fandom affects your public image, I’d appreciate some links if you can provide any. I know I have a lot for Aniime since the stories are pretty concrete as to why people feel uneasy about them, but not alot on others.
If not, it’s all cool. My project anyways :D
Hello everyone we’ve got double the news for you today!
1: Another fundraiser?!? Yes indeed! XD
We are having a fundraiser stream for The-Humble-Old-Guard because her computer stopped working a while back, and she needs it for school and whatnot.
It will start on December 13’th…We are currently raising funds to help out our friend Stronghold.
She is in dire need of getting a laptop to study and work, and we’re doing our best to get her as much support as possible.
If you can’t donate at the moment (we all are tight money wise, we understand) please reblog this around. We will be going for the next twelve hours.
HERE’S THE STREAM LINK - STRONGHOLD’S STREAM.
HERE’S THE DONATION LINK - DONATE TO STRONGHOLD.

Yay, ants decided to attack my fuckin’ kitchen counter for a single fucking plate with crumbs on it.
No no, you sent a whole battalion for a set of fucking crumbs, good lord how low are your standards?
WHo am I to judge, fighting for scraps, ant economy must be shit too. WHoop-dee-freakin’-doo, fuck you ants, today sucks.
Deviantart’s new logo is fucking terrible. What the hell even is it? Like seriously, what is that thing. Looks like one of those symbols on a road sign.
[everyones reaction] “Oh you’ve redecorated… I don’t like it”
Hopefully they don’t go through a Youtube phase (changes UI’s every two weeks)
